After eight years as a Speech-Language Pathologist working in schools and hospitals, including during the height of COVID, founder Sarah Breshears was burnt out and disheartened by the lack of awareness around speech pathology and healthcare specialties in general.
She realized that amazing clinicians were struggling to reach the patients who needed them most, simply because they didn't know how to effectively communicate their expertise online. And ultimately, the patients were the ones to suffer.
What started as creating speech therapy materials on Teachers Pay Teachers evolved into mastering social media strategy to sell them. When other healthcare professionals began asking for help with their digital presence, Social Moguls was born on December 24th, 2020.
Our team of Clinical Content Creators has grown to support various disciplines including SLP, OT, PT, Dentists, Mental Health Therapists, Yoga Instructors, Med Spas, Veterinarians, Registered Dietitians, and Dental Hygienists.

I got a master's in Speech Language Pathology, started my Clinical Fellowship, realized there was $0 for materials and started creating my own, Short and Sweet Speech on TPT was born.
2014
I grew Short and Sweet Speech Instagram, Blog, Pinterest, and Facebook while creating connections within the online SLP community and growing my skills in building a brand online, I got a self-study PhD in marketing (sarcasm here but I spent enough for a doctorate on courses and mentorship to learn how to market in the digital world)
2015-2020
A non-profit asked me to volunteer on their social media team which I quickly stepped in to lead. Over the holidays I decided I needed more flexibility than the hospital or schools would ever give me and more income to pay off those student loans than they would ever pay me. On Christmas Eve, Social Moguls was born.
2020
My mentor from grad school ran for Senate and I ran her social media campaign. March brought the first paying clients for Social Moguls, and in June I officially went full-time, deciding not to return to my clinical job. In September, I had my first $10k (actually $13k) month! The Serving on Social System was born.
2021
Hired my first Clinical Content Creators to grow a team and support more clients.
2022
Invested heavily in mentorship and education to continue learning and elevating our services and co-founded Sip and Social.
2023
Created 5 new courses for health and wellness entrepreneurs, launched the Momentum Marketing Mastermind, survived two hurricanes, and treated my fam to a week in Miami.
2024
Speaking on stages, selling out launches, hosting retreats, and expanding our team, Yoga Teacher Certification, and massive growth all around, decided to take Q4 off to recharge.
2025
